Part-Time Events Coordinator / Brand Ambassador

Schedule and attend fairs, festivals, community events, and other local opportunities to promote Knight Family Agency.

Success is measured by the number of qualified leads generated at each event, with bonus opportunities for exceeding lead goals.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate event details, materials, booth setup, and follow-up for local community events.
  • Represent Knight Family Agency with a friendly, professional, and helpful presence.
  • Start conversations with attendees, explain how our agency helps families, and collect qualified leads.
  • Track event results and share feedback about what worked and where we can improve.

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable speaking with new people and starting conversations in a public setting.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Organized, outgoing, dependable, and able to work independently at events.

Pay: $16/hour + bonus opportunity

Schedule: Part-time; event dates and hours vary, including some evenings and weekends

Insurance Agent

Full-time, in-office position focused on helping customers with their personal insurance needs and growing a book of business.

What you'll do

  • Meet with current and prospective customers to understand their auto, home, renters, and other personal insurance needs.
  • Prepare coverage recommendations, explain options clearly, and provide accurate quotes.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through follow-up, service, referrals, and thoughtful coverage reviews.
  • Prospect for new business through agency leads, community relationships, referrals, and personal outreach.
  • Maintain complete, accurate records and follow agency, carrier, and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Strong communication, listening, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working toward sales and activity goals.
  • Insurance license required or willingness to obtain licensing within 60 days of accepting a job offer.

Pay: $35,568/year base salary + unlimited commission potential

Schedule: Full-time, in-office only at this time

Commercial Insurance Agent

Seeking an experienced commercial insurance professional to develop and service commercial insurance accounts.

What you'll do

  • Develop relationships with business owners and learn how their operations, assets, and risks are changing.
  • Analyze commercial exposures and recommend appropriate business insurance solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, explain coverage and exclusions, and guide clients through the decision-making process.
  • Build and manage a profitable book of commercial business through prospecting, referrals, and account rounding.
  • Partner with agency teammates and carriers to deliver responsive service from submission through renewal.

What we're looking for

  • Property & Casualty and Life licenses required.
  • Previous commercial insurance sales or agency experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverage concepts, professional communication, and follow-through.

Pay: $45,000/year base salary + unlimited earning potential

Schedule: Full-time; primarily in-office with local client meetings as needed

Life Insurance Agent

Specialist position focused on marketing, presenting, and selling life insurance products.

What you'll do

  • Connect with individuals and families to understand their income protection, family protection, and legacy goals.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations and present life insurance recommendations in a clear, caring way.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects, complete applications accurately, and guide customers through underwriting.
  • Build referral relationships and create ongoing opportunities through networking and community outreach.
  • Provide dependable service and maintain accurate records throughout the customer relationship.

What we're looking for

  • Active Life insurance license required.
  • Previous life insurance sales experience required.
  • Empathetic communication style, strong follow-up habits, and the ability to explain complex topics simply.

Pay: $45,000/year base salary + unlimited commission potential

Schedule: Full-time; primarily in-office with customer meetings scheduled as needed

Customer Service / Account Manager

Part-time or full-time customer service and account management role helping policyholders receive responsive, accurate support.

What you'll do

  • Answer customer questions, provide policy service, and help clients understand their coverage and next steps.
  • Process account updates, endorsements, documents, payments, and service requests accurately and promptly.
  • Identify coverage needs and opportunities for additional protection, then connect customers with the appropriate agent.
  • Follow up on open requests and maintain clear, detailed records in the agency management system.
  • Deliver a warm, professional customer experience that builds long-term trust in the agency.

What we're looking for

  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Property & Casualty license is a prerequisite or must be obtained within 60 days of a job offer.
  • Insurance agency or account service experience is helpful; training is available for the right candidate.

Pay: $16–$20/hour, depending on experience and licensing

Sales Development Representative

Entry-to-mid-level sales role focused on creating meaningful first conversations with prospective customers and building a consistent pipeline for the agency.

What you'll do

  • Respond to inbound leads and make thoughtful outbound calls, texts, and emails to prospective customers.
  • Ask strong discovery questions, identify insurance needs, and schedule qualified appointments for agents.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects so opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
  • Keep lead records, notes, activities, and next steps accurate in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with producers and agency leadership to improve messaging, conversion, and follow-up processes.

What we're looking for

  • Confident, positive communicator who is comfortable making calls and starting conversations.
  • Organized, persistent, coachable, and motivated by measurable goals.
  • Insurance, sales, customer service, or call-center experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: Base compensation and commission/bonus opportunity based on experience

Senior Commercial Insurance Agent

Senior producer and team-leadership role for an experienced commercial insurance professional who can grow accounts while mentoring and developing commercial agents.

What you'll do

  • Lead commercial prospecting, discovery, risk analysis, proposals, sales, renewals, and account development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, carriers, and referral partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial agents through coaching, field support, training, and regular feedback.
  • Help establish sales standards, pipeline discipline, account strategies, and best practices for the commercial team.
  • Model consultative selling, ethical advice, excellent service, and consistent follow-through.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of insurance sales experience with a proven record of commercial sales success.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience coaching, mentoring, or developing other producers.
  • Active Property & Casualty license required; strong commercial coverage knowledge required.
  • Strategic, accountable, and capable of both producing personally and elevating a team.

Pay: $60,000–$75,000 base salary + commission and bonus incentives

Schedule: Full-time; primarily in-office with local client and team meetings as needed

Senior Life Insurance Agent

Senior producer and team-leadership role for an experienced life insurance professional who can drive sales while mentoring and developing life agents.

What you'll do

  • Lead needs-based life insurance conversations, presentations, applications, underwriting coordination, and closes.
  • Develop a consistent book of life business through referrals, networking, agency leads, and community relationships.
  • Lead and mentor a team of life agents through coaching, training, role-play, and regular performance feedback.
  • Help establish sales processes, follow-up standards, pipeline practices, and best practices for the life team.
  • Model compassionate, compliant, consultative sales and exceptional service for customers and teammates.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of insurance sales experience with a proven record of life insurance sales success.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience coaching, mentoring, or developing other producers.
  • Active Life insurance license required; strong life insurance product knowledge required.
  • Strategic, accountable, and capable of both producing personally and elevating a team.

Pay: $60,000–$75,000 base salary + commission and bonus incentives
